DESCRIPTION
The AKJ* are circulating type industrial cooling units with inverter-controlled compressor, for lubricating oils and mineral oil-based fluids. The Daikin original IPM motor compressor allows high performances in terms of energy-saving. Power consumption can be checked on the control panel.
The AKZ series offers circulating chillers with an inverter-controlled, air-cooled compressor for cooling lubricating oil or mineral fluid. The tank is not included in the scope of delivery.
These chillers control the temperature in these ways:
- Set the fluid temperature according to the ambient temperature or to the machine temperature
- Hold the temperature of the fluid constant in the tank
- Cool the fluid at constant capacity
Temperature control is very accurate: ±0.1 °C in the whole duty cycle; the ambient temperature range is within 5 to 45 °C.
An autotuning function that automatically sets the control gain according to the system installed (tank oil volume, piping, etc.) reduces adjustment time significantly at the trial run.
The AKZ* cooling units are perfect in applications that demand a strict control of the temperature, such as machining centers, NC lathes, gearbox lubricants, grinding machines, electrical discharge machines, molding machines, presses, etc.
